We have 30 different offices all over Wisconsin- covering areas from state line all the way up to Green bay- so being located anywhere within the state works for us!

Position Overview: As a Safety Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety programs and policies to ensure a safe work environment for employees and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. You will also be responsible for conducting safety audits, identifying potential hazards, and implementing corrective actions to prevent accidents and injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with EHS, OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective actions to address safety deficiencies.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, identify root causes, and develop and implement preventative measures.
• Provide training and education to employees on safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Monitor and track safety metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industrial hygiene standards and NFPA fire codes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with quality management teams to ensure safety standards are integrated into all processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety management role.
• Strong knowledge of EHS, OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations, and ANSI standards.
• Experience conducting safety audits and developing corrective actions.
• Proficient in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Certifications in industrial hygiene and/or safety management are a plus.
