Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Associate Informaticist to join a dynamic Tools and Solutions team within an innovative Analytics Organization Hub. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of creating automated, actionable insights that drive operational efficiencies and spark innovation. What You'll Bring:
Experience & Skills:
SAS Expertise: At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Base & Advanced SAS, ideally with certifications and a deep understanding of macro utilization.
Data Management: Proven track record in designing, developing, and maintaining data extraction and transformation processes, analytical reporting, and automated programming using reusable, SAS macro-driven components.
SQL Proficiency: 2+ years of experience in SQL, with familiarity across various Database Management Systems and a solid understanding of indexed and efficient table joins.
Tableau Know-How: At least 1 year of experience developing Tableau dashboards.
Adaptability: Ability to seamlessly transition between problem-solving and building sustainable processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with healthcare data.
Ability to independently engage with business users to understand requirements, and plan and design solutions.
Previous involvement in both payor and provider project support.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Extraction & Preparation: Extract and calculate metrics from various data sources using SAS, preparing data for Tableau dashboards focused on harm events, patient safety, adverse events, and more.
Comprehensive Data Management: Develop and maintain a 360-degree view of data to support diverse projects.
User Engagement: Work directly with business users to gather requirements, plan, design, and build solutions tailored to their needs.
Project Ownership: Take full ownership of projects from inception to completion, including gathering requirements, documentation, building, deploying, and training analysts on new tools.
Innovation & Enhancement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of data delivery and presentation methods to enhance operational efficiencies.
