The Prospect Research Analyst provides intelligence that informs fundraising strategy by identifying and assessing major gift prospects; monitoring and disseminating news on major donors and prospects; and providing research and analysis on individuals, companies, and foundations. This role also supports the Assistant Director of Research in assigning financially promising constituents across gift officer portfolios. Through quarterly portfolio reviews, the role partners with gift officers to maintain and optimize portfolios and provide strategic counsel with respect to prospect strategy and moves management. Further, this role supports the Law Schoolâ™s annual and long-term fundraising goals by conducting prospect research utilizing publicly available information sources, as well as data provided through internal and external sources. The Prospect Research Analyst prepares comprehensive written analysis, utilizes data analytics and relationship mapping, and updates pertinent information in the Law Schoolâ™s CRM database.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $69,545.46 to USD $85,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
