Job Title: Team Lead - Evening Shift

Reports To: General Manager

Job Type: Full-Time, Evening Shift

Shift Hours: 3:00 PM – 10:30 PM some Saturdays

 

Job Summary:

Blake's BBQ is looking for a passionate and customer-focused Team Lead to oversee our evening shift operations. As a Team Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our team embodies our commitment to active listening and customer satisfaction. Your leadership will help us maintain high-quality service, foster a positive work environment, and ensure that every customer leaves with a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead by Example: Demonstrate active listening and excellent customer service skills in all interactions, setting the standard for the team.
• Support and Mentor Team Members: Provide guidance and support to evening shift staff, ensuring they understand and embody Blake’s BBQ’s core values.
• Customer Engagement: Regularly engage with customers, listen to their feedback, and ensure their needs are met promptly and with a smile.
• Address Issues Proactively: Listen attentively to any customer concerns, and take immediate and appropriate action to resolve them.
• Quality Control: Monitor the preparation and presentation of all dishes to ensure they meet Blake’s BBQ’s high standards.
• Foster a Positive Environment: Create a supportive atmosphere where team members feel heard, valued, and motivated to perform their best.
• Communicate with Management: Regularly report on shift performance, customer feedback, and any operational issues to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to customer satisfaction and team collaboration.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Availability to work during evening hours, including weekends and holidays.
