Job Description

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations to maximize process efficiency and productivity. This role will involve working closely with the production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials and products, cost-effectiveness, and quality standards.

Responsibilities include but not limited to :
  • Day-to-day warehouse operations management.
  • Develop and Implement supply chain strategies that align with company objectives and enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Analyze supply chain data and performance to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
  • Manage logistics activities, including shipping, warehousing and distribution to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Develop and maintain inventory management policies and procedures
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production team to ensure adequate supply.
  • Maintain paint logs for EAP reporting!
  • Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
  • Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize warehouse operations.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Develop and maintain inventory management policies and procedures
  • Monitory Inventory levels and coordinate with the production team to ensure adequate supply.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and components.
  • Address any supply chain issues that could impact production schedules

  • Foster a collaboration of high-performance work environment
  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training/Cross training, and performance management

 

  • Ensure the proper maintenance of warehouse management software (FISHBOWL) and ensure accurate data entry and reporting.
  • And other related duties as assigned by management or as develop due to business necessity and growth.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain/warehouse management, preferably in a heavy manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work with all departments involved to facilitate communication and problem resolution to meet deadlines as needed and required to accomplish corporate goals
