Ultrasound Technician - 13 week contract in Georgia!
ARDMS Certification is a must!
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technician to join our medical team for travel contracts local to Georgia. The Ultrasound Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic medical sonography imaging procedures using high frequency sound waves to produce images of the body's internal structures.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams on patients, according to physician orders
- Operate ultrasound equipment to capture images of the body's organs and tissues
- Review images for quality and ensure accurate representation of the structures being examined
- Communicate with patients to explain procedures and promote a comfortable and positive experience
- Maintain equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information
Requirements:
- Certified Ultrasound Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Current BLS/CPR certification
